RM80 is a new generation of super audio integration amplification device, using adaptive fast convergence algorithm, support howling suppression and intelligent noise reduction, so that you can easily listen in noisy environments. Simple deployment, ceiling mount installation and is ready to use - allowing lecturers to focus on presentations without positioning, care-free, and hands-free. What's more, it’s contactless operation, reducing the risk of user infection during the pademic.   

 

 

   

  

Deployment Recommendations 

Connect the USB port of the Rocware RM80 digital array microphone to the USB power port (power banks also supported), connect the SPK-OUT port to the audio with a 3.5mm audio cable, and mount the microphone on the ceiling. Turn the speaker on, then connect the microphone. RM80 requires no extra configuration and will take 10s to calibrate for the adaption to the environment to achieve contact-free amplification. Be noted that the distance between the microphone and the speaker should be at least 3 meters, depending on how many speakers are connected.

Rocware RM80 digital array microphone for sound reinforcement will not cause howling in use, teacher can walk back and forth, blackboard writing or has some body language freely during lecturing, freeing hands and widening the teaching distance.

Normally, when teacher bends over to pick up a dropped item, the change in distance from the clipper microphone will cause howling, while the change in distance from the RM80 digital microphone will not cause any noise sound.

Playing teaching video or mobile phones ringing will not cause signal interference in class, and the amplification still works well.

In order to protect their voice, teachers generally speak in a low voice for a long time in class. It is difficult to convey their voices clearly due to the distance. Rocware RM80 sound reinforcement digital microphone array strives to restore natural loud voice, natural noise reduction, voice pickup and covert sound reinforcement, while protecting teachers' throat and students' hearing.

Latency oftenly affects the meaning of the delivered message, which is technically called haas effect. If the latency is around 35~50ms, human ear begins to sense the sound lag behind. Rocware RM80 leads the industry with an end-to-end input to output latency of less than 18ms, making it comfortable for the human ear to sense the sound as if it were coming directly from the lecturer's mouth rather than a speaker.

At the same time, the control of the gain ratio is also a difficult problem. Generally speaking, the sound is too loud when person is close to the microphone, the sound will be too low when person is far away. In order to still be heard when the sound is attenuated to the back row, it is often necessary to sacrifice the ears of the front row personnel and the speaker's voice. If the control is not good, the sound will be louder when it returns to the microphone than when it comes out, and it is easy to cause a big problem-----howling.

In this aspect, for RM80, no matter the distance, the sound is balanced, and the lecturer's low voice is still recorded clearly within 5 meters.

And the howling suppression effect is also very good, the sound field learning time is short, the howling is difficult to appear and disappear quickly.
